The Association of Library Professionals is founded in 2023 by a group of library professionals who strongly believe the need for a professional association at the state level to understand recruitment issues, professional standards of librarians, entirely dedicated for libraries and librarians. The association headquarter is located at Gandhinagar. The ALP is registered under Laboure act of 1954.
